Risto Murto, CEO of the Finnish pension insurance company Varma, and Johanna Ahonen, Account Manager, visited our engine factory. During the visit, they explored the engine assembly line and learned about our company’s long history. The guests were impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the high level of automation: “I’ve never seen this many robots operating at the same time – it’s amazing to see this level of automation in Finland!” Murto remarked.
We serve as AGCO Corporation’s center of excellence for power & energy, and our Linnavuori factory in Nokia is the most automated facility within AGCO. We are strongly investing in the future: approximately 7% of our revenue is allocated to product development, and a € 100 million investment program is nearing completion. “Our success is built on everyone doing their job well. Our expertise is top-notch, and we maintain close cooperation with educational institutions,” says Juha Tervala, CEO of AGCO Power.

Risto Murto has led The Room for Growth initiative commissioned by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. The goal of the project, which concluded earlier this year, was to identify ways to accelerate sustainable economic growth in Finland.
“One key objective is to attract international investments to Finland, and in this regard, AGCO Power stands out as an exemplary success story,” Murto summarizes.
He also emphasized the importance of responsible investing and the advanced nature of Finnish industry:
“From an investor’s perspective, Finland is the most responsible country. AGCO Power is a great example of how international ownership can be an opportunity – and how Finnish engineering expertise truly shines.”
AGCO Power extends its sincere thanks for the visit and the valuable discussions. It is a pleasure to share insights and experiences in support of developing Finnish technology industry – together we build sustainable growth and global competitiveness.
